An Introduction
Dear Geo-Studis
welcome to the homepage of our student council of geography!
The student council advises you on questions of study, represents you in the committees of the Institute of Geography and supervises the freshmen every semester. In short: If you’re at a loss, then come and see us!
If you have already visited our student council room, you might know that you can also top up your printer credit with us (if not, take a look at the FAQs ;)) But what else does your student council do? A core task is, of course, the representation of students’ interests in university committees at various levels. But also, if you have questions about your studies or difficulties – we are there for you.
In addition, we organize various events during the semester – it’s worth staying up to date! Just subscribe to our mailing list or visit our Facebook page. On our website you will find the most important information about the study of geography at the University of Bonn. Furthermore, we give you an overview of our work as student representatives. You can also take a look behind the scenes with our Instagram account!
If you want to come by personally, you will find us in the basement of the Geographical Institute. Our opening hours during the semester are Monday to Thursday from 12 – 01 o’clock. But you can also contact us by mail or phone
Our student council meetings take place every week on Tuesdays at 8 pm in the red hall. We are happy about everyone who comes to one of our meetings, whether simply out of interest or to support us in our work! We are looking forward to meeting you!
